62 Miles for St. Jude

Yesterday I posted on social media about my participation in a St. Jude Children’s Hospital fundraiser called 62 Miles for St. Jude. Throughout the month of August I will be logging miles from walking and running until I reach my 62 mile challenge.
While this is great and symbolic and a worthy goal to reach, the true difference maker is the fundraising portion. I’m happy to say that at the time of my writing this, I have already raised $310! The original goal of my fundraiser was $250, but based on the incredible reaction I’ve already had, I raised the goal to $500. I think we can reach that number!
If you can, I would appreciate your donations as well. Even just $1 helps. You can find my fundraiser here. I would also encourage you to take part in the 62 Miles for St. Jude challenge yourself! You can click my link and create your own fundraiser in minutes.
I have known people who were patients at St. Jude and have seen firsthand the important, lifesaving work they do for children diagnosed with cancer. St. Jude does not charge patients or their families a single penny to use their services. This is incredible, and a worthwhile organization to support.
As a cancer patient myself, it feels so important for me to champion any and all efforts to help those at risk – especially children, and especially those who are going through this awful disease at a level that I am fortunate to not have to face. Let’s make a difference together this month!
As an added bonus, here is my sweaty Reel I posted yesterday:
